The product is cast from real oak beams and is made using a unique resin-based moulding material which allows for custom staining and returns a very high-quality finish.

The range provides a wide variety of plank sizes, together with mock-oak pegs to conceal the screw fixings. It comes in lengths of up to 6 meters, avoiding the need for repeats – a common complaint with moulded products.
Through a unique moulding and hand-finishing process, Oakleaf provides customers with an enormous range of convincing decorative mouldings – from rustic, rough-hewn oak beams typical of the 17th century, to delicate gilt fillet and paterae of the 18th century – from dark-stained wall-panelling of the Jacobean period, to paint finishes of the present day.
Being a resin product, the beams are light in weight and require no special structural work. Unaffected by moisture, they do not suffer the movement and resultant cracking of real wood in damp situations. Consequently, they are ideal for use in high moisture environments.
